The first EV from Honda Motorcycle will be the Activa Electric, followed by a moped that will come with a swappable alternative. HMSI however aims to deploy its battery-swapping technology for its customers in the long run.

During the launch of Honda Activa 6G on January 2023, Atsushi Ogata, Managing Director, President and CEO – HMSI India, was quoted saying the company is considering utilising its existing sales infrastructure of over 6,000 outlets to set up charging infrastructure for its EV range and later depending on the market situation would take a call on expanding it further.
